Upstream Well-being Solutions
Upstream Well-being Solutions is a nonprofit committed to sharing the gift of experience of a 44 year medical career spanning two continents, diverse cultures, and diverse disciplines. It is a desire to give back to colleagues and community. And to network and collaborate with like minded organizations and charities.
In order to find “upstream solutions” to our current challenges, we must ALL take responsibility to help create our well-being future. All of us must take ownership of our current reality. Whether by omission or commission, we have all contributed to it. The possibility of a robust health system, and personal health and well-being, will only be attainable if we ALL bring our gifts and capabilities to the table.
As citizens it means taking care of our health and well-being through our own holistic healing journey and a healthy lifestyle. As politicians and healthcare leaders it is to provide transformational leadership. For healthcare workers it means bringing our best self to work through our own journey of growth and transformation, so that we can honour our calling.
This website, the referenced curated resources, teachings, and collegial support are shared freely. The focus is Prince Edward Island, Canada, but many of our local health challenges are global in scope.
